A Total Solar Eclipse Gathering
On-site camping, campervans, tent hotels, and village accommodation — book early, the whole region is expecting high demand.
The 2026 total solar eclipse will bring significant demand to the entire Soria region — not only from festival attendees, but from eclipse tourists, astronomy groups, and media from across Europe. Accommodation, rental cars, and campervans will be in short supply.
If you're planning to stay off-site, rent a vehicle, or bring a campervan, we strongly recommend booking as early as possible. This is not standard festival advice — it reflects a region-wide event that will stretch local capacity.
Walk-in camping is included with all tickets. Bring your own tent and set up in the general camping areas.
For those driving, car camping areas will be available where you can park beside your pitch. You'll receive parking instructions and allocation with your ticket confirmation.
The site is at 1,100 metres elevation. August days are warm (30-35°C) but nights drop to 12-15°C. Bring a sleeping bag rated for cool nights, and a layer for after dark. A shade structure for daytime is also recommended.
Campervans are welcome — we'll offer several options for boutique campervan camping, for a fee. Dedicated areas will be set aside with appropriate access and spacing.
If you're planning to rent a campervan, book it now. The solar eclipse is drawing visitors from across Europe, and rental availability in Madrid, Bilbao, and Zaragoza will tighten significantly as August approaches. The same applies to rental cars — availability near the eclipse path will be limited.
On-site parking is available for a fee. Details about parking passes and vehicle access will be sent to all ticket holders.
For those who prefer not to bring their own gear, tent hotel options will be available — pre-pitched and furnished tents in designated areas. These include a bed, bedding, and basic furniture.
Details and booking for tent hotel packages will be announced separately. Space is limited.
Vinuesa and the surrounding villages have a limited number of hotels, guesthouses, and rural casas. These are small-scale, family-run options — not large hotel chains.
The solar eclipse on August 12 will generate demand far beyond the festival. Astronomy groups, eclipse tourists, and media will also be looking for accommodation across the Soria province. If you want to stay off-site, book as soon as possible.
The larger town of Soria (35 minutes south) has more options, including hotels and hostels, but expect high demand there too.
