Vinuesa sits in the highlands of Castile and León — remote enough to feel like another world, close enough to reach from Madrid in under three hours.

Vinuesa sits in the province of Soria — one of the least populated regions in Western Europe. The roads are quiet, the landscape is open, and the last stretch winds through pine forests before the lake appears below.

Getting to Iberia Eclipse is straightforward. The festival site is under three hours from Madrid by car, with connections also possible from Barcelona, Bilbao, and Zaragoza. We are organising shuttle services from the nearest transport hubs.

The 2026 total solar eclipse will bring significant demand to the entire region. Accommodation, rental cars, and campervans are expected to be in short supply — not only because of the festival, but because of eclipse tourism across northern Spain. We recommend booking transport and accommodation as early as possible.

Below you'll find everything you need to plan your journey — how to get here, where to stay, and what to expect from the region itself.
