Frequently Asked Questions

The Basics

August 10–15, 2026. The total solar eclipse occurs on August 12.

Where is it?

Near Vinuesa, in the province of Soria, Castilla y León, Spain. Approximately 2.5 hours from Madrid, 2 hours from Zaragoza.

How many people will attend?

We're planning for 5,000–10,000 participants, depending on final permits.

Tickets

Are tickets available now?

Yes. Visit our tickets page for current availability and pricing.

Are there day tickets?

No. Iberia Eclipse is a full-experience event. All tickets include the complete festival duration.

Can I get a refund?

Please see our terms and conditions for the refund policy.

Will tickets sell out?

Capacity is limited by the site and permits. We recommend booking early.

Getting There

What's the nearest airport?

Madrid-Barajas (MAD) is the largest international airport, about 2.5 hours from the site. Bilbao (BIO) and Zaragoza (ZAZ) are also options.

Will there be shuttle buses?

Yes. We're planning official shuttle services from Madrid, Zaragoza, Soria, and other nearby cities. Details will be announced closer to the event.

Can I drive?

Yes. Car camping is available in a dedicated area and requires an additional Vehicle Camping Ticket, available soon through our ticket shop.

Can I come by campervan?

Yes. Campervans and caravans have a dedicated area and require an additional Vehicle Camping Ticket. Space is limited — available soon through our ticket shop.

Accommodation

Is camping included?

Yes. All GA Access festival tickets include tent camping with your own tent.

Do I need to bring my own tent?

Yes — unless you book a Tent Hotel package. Tent camping is included in all GA Access festival tickets. There is also a car-free camping area for walk-in only.

Are there other accommodation options?

Yes. Tent Hotel accommodation (pre-setup tents) will be available soon through our ticket shop. The town of Vinuesa and surrounding areas also have limited hotels and guesthouses — book early as these fill up quickly.

Will there be showers and toilets?

Yes. Sanitary facilities will be distributed across the site.

On Site

What about food and drink?

There will be food vendors on site offering a variety of options. You may also bring your own food. No glass containers allowed.

Is there drinking water?

Yes. Water points will be available throughout the site.

Will there be phone signal?

While mobile coverage in the area is generally fine, expect the networks to struggle with the volume of phones in the region during the festival and the solar eclipse. Consider this a feature, not a bug.

Is the site accessible?

We're working to make the event as accessible as possible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance.

The Eclipse

When exactly is totality?

August 12, 2026, at approximately 20:29 local time. Totality lasts about 1 minute 42 seconds.

Do I need eclipse glasses?

Yes — during the partial phases before and after totality. We will have eclipse glasses available, but recommend bringing your own.

What if it's cloudy?

Weather is never guaranteed. However, this region of Spain has historically low cloud cover in August (~25%). We chose this location partly for its favorable weather statistics.

Safety & Rules

Is there security?

Yes. Professional security will be on site, coordinating with local authorities.

Are there medical facilities?

Yes. First aid stations will be staffed throughout the event. For serious emergencies, hospitals in Soria are approximately 40 minutes away.

What's not allowed?

Glass containers, open fires, drones (without prior authorization), illegal substances, and pets (with limited exceptions for assistance animals). See our full terms and conditions for details.
