A Total Solar Eclipse Gathering

Beyond the Stages

Other Spaces

The festival extends far beyond its stages. Discover spaces for learning, creating, healing, and observing.

The Festival Between

Some of the most meaningful festival experiences happen away from the stages. Iberia Eclipse includes a constellation of smaller spaces, each with its own purpose and character.

Workshop Village

A dedicated area for learning and sharing:

  • Eclipse education — Understanding the science and history of solar eclipses
  • Astronomy sessions — Night sky observation with telescopes
  • Music workshops — Drum circles, instrument building, sound healing
  • Movement & dance — Ecstatic dance, contact improvisation
  • Sustainability — Leave No Trace principles, environmental awareness
  • Art creation — Collaborative projects, personal expression

Healing Garden

A quieter zone for rest and restoration:

  • Massage and bodywork
  • Sound baths
  • Meditation sessions
  • Quiet reflection spaces
  • Professional support services

Art Installations

Throughout the festival grounds, you'll encounter art pieces created specifically for Iberia Eclipse. Many incorporate solar and celestial themes. Some are interactive. All are designed to transform after dark.

A map of installations will be provided on-site.

The Observatory

A dedicated space for eclipse viewing and astronomy:

  • Solar telescopes (with trained operators)
  • Educational displays
  • Live data feeds
  • Photography stations

The Observatory will be particularly active on August 12, offering guided viewing of the eclipse through professional equipment.

Spontaneous Spaces

We've intentionally left room for the unplanned:

  • Open areas for informal gatherings
  • Acoustic zones for unplugged performances
  • Community bulletin boards
  • Skill-share meetups
